A lifelong resident of Wisconsin, Greg Cavanaugh, PA-C, has been in healthcare in one form or another since 1990. A member of the first graduating class of the Marquette University physician assistant studies program, Greg completed his master's degree in the field in 1999. Upon graduation, Greg worked as a physician assistant in a variety of specialties, including emergency medicine, cardiology and peripheral vascular medicine.
Greg has developed an interest in working with implantable therapies, such as spinal cord/peripheral nerve stimulators and intrathecal pumps. Prior to his PA studies, Greg worked in healthcare as an emergency medical technician for 15 years and as a phlebotomist. In addition, he briefly pursued a performing arts career with a focus on musical theater, participated in an abbreviated tour in the United States Army Reserve as a tanker and spent nearly a year as a correctional officer for the Wisconsin prison system.
